Heading to the hospital soon to see mom, I need to put some serious thought into what comes next for her and Lenny...need to set up some help for Lenny while she's away and get help for both when she gets home. Not sure if family can help or if we need to get social services involved. This will be the great predicament families face as the boomers start to age...with the fortunes of the country disintegrating and more people becoming destitute what will happen to this nation? We use to work together to solve these issues and that is why we were the shining light on the hill, now??? Ideology seems to trump need and a helping hand has become wrong to half the population. There are the truly needy among us and there are those who's motives are not in line with our national belief of a good work ethic. We really need are best and brightest to stand up now and come to the service of the country, what can one man do? All of us should contemplate these things and act accordingly.
