Last night in the West...

The time has come for us to move east...my mother is looking better and better so Nancy and I have decided to turn the care over to other family members...younger brother Barry taking over! Thanks Bear! Tomorrow at 6:30 AM (ugh) we fly to New Orleans with stops at Austin, TX and Dallas, TX...about a 5 1/2 hour journey...when we changed our itinerary it was the best we could come up with. We get in to New Orleans about 2pm, pick up a rental car and head for Ocean Springs, MS. We are thrilled to visit old friends Tom and Sandy Price. The Price's were the 1st people we meet when we moved to Billings, MT. in 1980. Tomorrow we will be sitting on their veranda right on the Bayou, what a change from Sun City! Two of their daughters live near by so it will be a regular reunion, only thing missing is their daughter Sherry and our kids. Tom was the guy who taught me how to play golf and Sandra helped Nancy get a job at the mall very early on...I remember the 1st time I met Tom he was BBQing next door from us, the reason I remember is because he had this huge BBQ and was cooking up about 50 lbs of meat (you know a little of this and a lot of that), these people are the type of friends that last a lifetime. Can't wait!
