Next stop Battle Ground Washington to visit Debbie (Gutzmer) Holmes...this woman has the most infectious laugh of any woman I have ever met! And of course another stop means another feast! Deb had invited her daughter, son-in-laugh and 2 very small grandchildren to join us for dinner...she must have forgotten how big we were because she prepared 3 full racks of ribs...if this sounds like a complaint you are far from my meaning, ribs are my favorite food! I did my best but alas there still remained ribs uneaten! Besides her laugh Debbie’s second major talent is a very green thumb...her gardens are beautiful and so well crafted...she is better than most professionals. It was a fun visit and since Deb is meeting us in NZ for part of our Flying Kiwi tour, we discussed all the activities we are going to attempt. Bon Voyage Deb, see you in January!
