Nancy and I would like to express our thanks to everyone who let us “bunk out” at their house during our swing through the USA. It was fun seeing all of you, and spending some time together. 22 places in 8 weeks...wow, no wonder I was tired...you have to remember we hit Phoenix twice and Orlando twice. Seeing a huge part of our country left us humble and proud to be Americans, the diversity is sometimes charming and sometimes mind boggeling. What an amazing country!
To date we’ve taken 12 flights, 12 trains and rented 2 cars (which we drove about 2,500 miles. We have slept in 21 different beds and enjoyed some of the best meals imaginable, (some by you and some on the road).
We have already taken 100’s of pictures, and have a bundle of stories. The good news...we are just getting started...we still have 6 months to go. We still stay 2 weeks in 5terre, Itlay, 2 months in Alviano Umbria, Italy, 6 weeks in Australia, 6 in NZ and 2 weeks in Hawaii. The table is set for a banquet...Ciao!
