A day of rest...making new friends.

HOORAY, my Chiavi (computer key) finally works, we are now able to get internet (very slow) and only on the lanai (not inside), but close enough. Andrea (the guy I bought it from) told me he would take care of everything yesterday and sure enough last night I tried to get on and voila it works! This is so much easier than taking the computer to the square and pirating someone else’s wifi...it allows me to walk away when long downloads occur...I’m in heaven!
No she is not bigger than him...she is standing on a huge step...they are actually about the same height.
We had a very nice morning. Nancy and I agreed to a day around Corniglia, and decided to do a little exercise to start off right...we made our way to the bus route and followed the road all the way down to the train station and then the 382 stairs back up. The walk down was awesome, took lots of pictures and will post on facebook. On the way back up, we took a break, and ran into a couple of Aussie’s from Warrnambool Victoria, AUS (I believe SE of Melbourne on the coast), very engaging people, Trevor and Barbara. We sat and chatted with them for about 1/2 hour. Trevor is a cheese maker for the Bega Cheese Company. They asked about out travels, and when I mentioned we were going to Tasmania he was excited, Tassi, according to him, is a hidden jewel that not many people see. The people from OZ are fabulous, these two actually invited us down to their place to spend a night if we’d like...it was another great moment of travel, and who knows maybe we’ll take them up on it! We continued our trek up the stairs, and again reached the 382nd step, which is always exciting and makes you feel you’ve really accomplished something.
