The Passiagata

Every evening at dusk you will find most people out strolling or siting and chatting with neighbors and  friends. What a nice way to bring a community together. There is so much laughing, talking and arm waving its absolutely delightful. The richness of this small village isn’t based on having more and better high tech toys, accumulating more and more material objects or the continuous need to proclaim they are the greatest village in the world. In our short time here, Nanc and I have noticed the 5terre's ease of life and the people's willingness to slow down to enjoy the day and each other, this is their real treasure. I hope the big cities of Italy have the same qualities of life, but my bet is they don't, hustle,  bustle and stress have a way of running those characteristics off. However, I'm sure their Pesto is just as good!
