Woke up in Wellington and said our goodbyes to Ethan, Sam and Steve...today we head north to New Plymouth. Long, long day on the bus...no real sights to see or things to experience...just point the bus north and drive. Wonderful country we are motoring through...take a few breaks for coffee and the bathroom but always heading north. We pulled into New Plymouth around 4pm, upgraded to a room and settled in for our last night with Flying Kiwi. The 3 of us walked up to a takeaway Chinese restaurant and went back to our room to eat...most of the mob are going out together and having another night of goodbyes, we really just want the tour to end and are excited to get on our own again. After dinner we take a walk down to the beach and find a little bar to sit and enjoy a beer...the moon is coming up and we enjoy the moment together. Getting an early start tomorrow, our last day, so hit the sack early.
