Let the camp-out begin...headed north to the Bay of Islands, got to know our co-travelers, interesting experience, liked some people immediately and others zero...kind of like Survivor...hope we’re not 1st voted off the bus. Drove up to Uretiti (your a titty) Beach for lunch, stopped at the Hundertwasser Toilets in Kawakawa, hiked the Waritangi Track (6k) up to Haruru Falls, then meant up with the rest of the group and went to our riverside camp...a quick tent lesson from Steely and we put ours up...dinner, some general conversation, a shower and sleep on the cold hard ground. Here we go!
