On Sunday we stayed at the house all day...kept trying to get it together and go out, but never quite made it...offered to help David do a couple chores around the house, so we stacked some wood and tied back some tree's in the orchard...great to get outside and do a little work. David's got big plans for this place and gave me a tour of the grounds and told me of his plans...wonderful plans. On Monday we had arranged with David to take a tour of Awatuna School...very neat campus layout for grades K - 6, nice to see a school that has a clear mission statement and everyone involved seems to be on the same page. Schools run with, "what's best for the children" idealism, and with a moral sense of decency and common sense are rare these days. It was fun to see a place that gave off such a positive vibe.
