Our host, David Langford, is a consummate story teller, he has had us laughing for the last week...one of the characters he talks about a lot is an old buddy named Jim, he started teaching with this guy way back when he was just starting in education...the stories about ole Jim are hilarious, from these remembrances of David, Jim is one of the funniest, weirdest, crudest and according to David, most appalling teachers in the history of NZ...we were rolling on the floor. There is a good chance if David ever wrote these stories down he would have a best selling book and mega movie. I would gladly pay $10 to see some of these tales recreated on the big screen. Come on David write your book!

But he is much more than just a storyteller...Dave is so completely immersed in Maori culture and lore and presents it so well, we are fascinated. The history of the 2 cultures coming together as told by Dave comes alive. In just a week I've learn so much and laughed so often.

And to top it off he's an old farm boy whose own antics are legendary...he also has so many hobbies I'm shocked he can keep up with them all...Cheers to you David...and to your life...well done my friend, well done.
