Rome...Spectacular.

Rome is awesome. Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, Navona Plazza,
The Spanish Steps and the Capitalini Museo...it’s been said “what you see with your eyes, you treasure in your heart”...I have been given so much treasure today, I’m rich. From one day to the next, Italy enriches our lives. The places we’ve been, people we’ve meant and sights we’ve seen ,leave us thankful and grateful we could make this trip. What a great world we live on.
I’m not surprised that men have been creating beauty forever, but I am  amazed some of it has survived so long. The Pantheon will leave you speechless, Trevi Fountain will put a smile on your face and you will be rewarded with Gelato in Navona Plazza. One of the best days to be alive.
A little misstep on the way in cost us about a 1/2 hour, looking for parking cost us another hour...parking in Rome sucks! We finally drove back to the Colloseum and found a spot there. I was a little worried about all the walking, but it was a snap...all these sights line up in pretty easy fashion to see. There are lots of “walking only alleys” so its quick as well. We didn’t get started until about 11am, finished by about 5pm, and even had time for lunch.
Of all the sights we’ve seen, The Pantheon and Colloseum are by far our favorites...just spectacular. When you come around a corner and see them, you are truly in awe...no words can describe these two places. All I can say is, “come see them”, and you’ll understand. They are both bigger than life. Their beauty is in the stones, the marble, the design and the craftsmanship.
I will post a number of pics on FB...take a look.
