the beginning

well here we are, my very first blog, no clue what i'm doing but i'm only partially confused. i'm hoping to create a history of our trip around the world. I will endeavor to make this interesting enough for friends and family to enjoy, have a few laughs and be able to keep up with our travels. we are not officially leaving until mid july, so not only will you get to enjoy the trip, but also the fun experience of planning and organizing. today we finished preparing our carriage house to move into. we have rented the main house to our nephew and so while we plan this trip we'll see how well we get along living in a very cramped but elegant studio apartment.
